太緊張？25歲陳姓女子因友人自韓國返台後感冒，上周她也出現發燒、咳嗽等症狀，自行就醫時謊稱曾赴韓旅遊，讓醫院啟動防護隔離措施，後經查無出入境紀錄，她坦言，是害怕染MERS，才盼被隔離檢驗。衛生局表示，若惡意謊報，最高可處15萬罰鍰。
近日韓國MRES疫情延燒，正好陳女友人自南韓旅遊返台後出現咳嗽等症狀，隨後就醫確診為一般感冒。不過，陳女18日也出現咳嗽及發燒，她因過度害怕被友人從韓國帶回MERS病毒感染，自行至新北市某醫院就醫，謊稱曾到韓國旅遊，曾在當地就醫，嚇得醫院立即啟動隔離措施。
不過，當日醫護人員與陳女訪談時，她卻對旅遊細節交代不清，經查才發現她並無出入境韓國紀錄，陳女才坦承，自己只是過度擔心染MERS，便編造故事，希望可以被隔離、檢驗，才結束這場烏龍。事後，醫院向疾管署申訴，疾管署念在陳女其非惡意，並未開罰。
疾病管制科代理科長陳小燕表示，民眾若惡意謊報旅遊史或相關資訊，違反傳染病防治法規定，最高可處15萬元罰鍰。她也呼籲，民眾勿因擔心而謊報，避免醫療資源浪費。
